Teloxys Graveolens

Wild cucumber, scientifically known as Teloxys graveolens, is a climbing vine native to tropical and subtropical regions around the world. This plant is characterized by its rapid growth and distinctive heart-shaped leaves that often have a velvety texture. It produces small, greenish-yellow flowers that eventually develop into spiny, pear-shaped fruits. Despite its name, the wild cucumber is not related to true cucumbers but is often mistaken for them due to its similar appearance. It is commonly found in disturbed areas, along roadsides, and in forest edges, where it thrives in warm and humid conditions.
