Potentilla Arenosa Subsp. Chamissonis

Potentilla arenosa subsp. chamissonis is a low-growing, drought-tolerant shrub native to arid and semi-arid regions of western North America. It thrives in sandy and gravelly soils, often found in coastal dunes and inland deserts. This subspecies is characterized by its fine, silver-green foliage and clusters of small, yellow flowers that bloom in early spring. Its hardy nature makes it an important component of stabilizing sandy soils and supporting local wildlife. Despite its resilience, it remains a relatively rare and underappreciated plant in ecological studies.
