Gaultheria Amboinensis
Gaultheria amboinensis is a rare evergreen shrub native to the mountainous regions of Indonesia. It is known for its small, dark green leaves and clusters of bell-shaped white flowers that bloom in spring. The plant produces edible berries that are often used in traditional medicine and cuisine. Its essential oils are valued for their medicinal properties, including pain relief and anti-inflammatory effects. Despite its benefits, this plant remains under-studied and is threatened by habitat loss and overharvesting.
