Erica Botuliformis

Erica botuliformis is a unique and lesser-known species of heath plant native to the rugged coastal regions of southern Africa. It thrives in nutrient-poor, well-drained soils and is often found in sandy or rocky habitats along the shoreline. The plant is characterized by its dense, compact growth and small, leathery leaves that help it withstand harsh coastal conditions. Its flowers, though subtle, are typically pink or purple and bloom in late summer. Despite its ecological importance, Erica botuliformis remains a relatively underappreciated member of the Erica family.
