Dryopteris Labordei F. Paleacea
Paleaceous shield fern, scientifically known as Dryopteris labordei f. paleacea, is a rare and striking variant of the shield fern genus found primarily in the mountainous regions of Southeast Asia. This fern is distinguished by its pale, almost bluish-green fronds that set it apart from its more common relatives. It thrives in humid, shaded environments, often growing on rocky outcrops or in dense forest undergrowth. Due to its limited distribution and unique appearance, it has become a subject of interest for botanists and conservationists. Despite its beauty, the Paleaceous shield fern remains poorly studied and is threatened by habitat loss and climate change.
