Conopodium Majus
Conopodium majus, commonly known as the mountain sorrel, is a hardy perennial plant native to temperate regions of the northern hemisphere. It is characterized by its distinctive heart-shaped leaves and clusters of small, yellowish flowers that bloom in early spring. This plant thrives in moist, shaded environments and is often found in woodland areas and along stream banks. Despite its delicate appearance, it is highly resilient and can withstand cold temperatures and poor soil conditions. Its edible leaves have been traditionally used in herbal medicine and as a culinary herb.
