Chamaenerion Angustifolium
Chamaenerion angustifolium, commonly known as fireweed, is a hardy plant that thrives in disturbed soils and sunny environments. It is often found along roadsides, in barren landscapes, and in areas recovering from fire or human activity. With its tall, erect stems and clusters of pinkish-purple flowers, it adds a striking visual element to the natural world. Despite its common name, fireweed is not related to the genus *Eupatorium* and is actually a member of the Onagraceae family. This resilient plant plays an important role in ecological succession and provides nectar for various pollinators.
