Cardamine Silana

Cardamine silana is a lesser-known member of the Brassicaceae family, commonly found in moist, shaded habitats across Europe and parts of Asia. This delicate plant typically grows to a height of about 10-20 cm, with slender stems and small, fern-like leaves. Its flowers are usually white or pale yellow, appearing in clusters of two to four, and bloom from late spring to early summer. While not widely cultivated, it plays an important ecological role in supporting pollinators and maintaining biodiversity in its native environments. Due to its subtle appearance and limited distribution, Cardamine silana remains a fascinating yet underappreciated species in the botanical world.
